Paddle Raise Mission

Raise your paddle in support of enriching our student's experience at Monty by updating resources and facilities around campus in athletics, technology, music, arts, and classrooms! As this is our first in-person event in two years we have a BIG goal this year with the paddle raise of $55,000! We need you to get us there. In particular, this year's paddle raise will support:

 New Gym Scoreboard - our gym is one of the most central and visible spaces on campus. It's home for our athletic teams and a gathering place for families and students within the Monty community and beyond. A new scoreboard will show that we are here to win!

 Chromebooks and iPads - help us update our technology department and computer lab with the addition of 24 new Chromebook and 35 new iPads. These new laptops will replace outdated equipment and will allow us to remove fixed workstations to create a more fluid and effective maker space in the tech lab. New iPads will replace current outdated models and additional new iPads will be used in LS and MS music to expand the music curriculum to include music composition and video creation and editing.

 Classroom "Cozy" Refresh - As we know, it's been a long 2 years of social distancing and online programming and we aren't the only ones feeling it - our classrooms are feeling it too!  We are raising $500 for each of our 28 classrooms for teachers to update spaces so our students can get comfortable, settle in, collaborate, and learn. These resources will also be used for whiteboards, standing desks, and other innovative classroom resources to enhance our student's daily learning.

Art Displays - Our students are more than just scholars, they are musicians, artists, and athletes. Our arts program produces amazing works of art from our students, and we want to share them with the community. Two permanent art display cabinets will let our students shine by showcasing their work and sharing that beauty with our entire community.

We all work together to meet our mission of igniting each child's love of learning and fostering their individual talents during the most formative years in order to prepare them for future success. Additional support received through our paddle raise and other giving channels are how we go beyond our mission and enhance the learning experience of each and every student at Montgomery.
